
Amy Green brings a versatile and deeply human approach to the practice of law, drawing from her background in education, the arts, and public service. Her multifaceted career reflects a commitment to advocacy, communication, and intellectual rigor.
Amy currently serves as a law clerk at Litson PLLC, where she supports attorneys on white-collar criminal defense matters and regulatory issues. Her work includes preparing legal memoranda, drafting motions and briefs, and assisting with appeals. Amy also works closely with the Hemp Law Group, where she researches state and federal cannabis law developments to support clients navigating a rapidly shifting legal landscape.
Before attending law school, Amy worked across diverse roles including as a classroom teacher and education paraprofessional, a client services associate in the entertainment insurance sector, and a language trainer overseas. These experiences sharpened her communication skills, cultural fluency, and ability to distill complex information for diverse audiences. She has also provided legal research assistance to faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Law, including former Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Penny White.
Amy is currently completing her J.D. at The University of Tennessee College of Law. She holds a B.F.A. in Film from Watkins College of Art & Design and will join Litson PLLC as an associate following graduation.
