Litson Earns Tier 1 Criminal Defense Rankings in Best Law Firms® 2027

Litson PLLC is ranked in five practice areas in the 2027 edition of Best Law Firms®, Ranked by Best Lawyers, released today. The firm again earned Tier 1 in Nashville in both Criminal Defense: General Practice and Criminal Defense: White-Collar, the federal defense work Litson was founded on in 2024.

Litson also moved up to Tier 2 in Commercial Litigation, from Tier 3 last year. It earned its first employment law rankings as well, with Tier 3 in Employment Law - Individuals and Litigation - Labor and Employment.

Best Law Firms rankings start with the individual Best Lawyers lists. A firm can be ranked in a practice area and region only if at least one of its lawyers is recognized there in The Best Lawyers in America®. The rankings then draw on evaluations from clients and from other lawyers.

The firm rankings follow Litson’s individual recognitions in August, when four of its attorneys were named in the 2027 Best Lawyers editions, up from two the year before. Managing Partner Alex Little is recognized in Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense: General Practice, and Criminal Defense: White-Collar. Partner Brent Hannafan, in his first year on the list as a Litson attorney, is recognized in Employment Law - Individuals and Litigation - Labor and Employment.
