Litson Adds Paige Nutini as Partner, Firm’s Fifth Former Federal Prosecutor
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 1, 2026) — Litson PLLC, a national federal criminal defense and white-collar litigation boutique, has added Paige Ayres Nutini as a partner in its Nashville office. A former supervisor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, Nutini is the fifth former Assistant U.S. Attorney to join the firm’s roster and will focus on white-collar criminal defense and federal trial work.
Nutini spent more than six years as a federal prosecutor in Chicago, one of the most prestigious U.S. Attorney’s offices in the country. She led complex investigations and prosecutions in the office’s Securities and Financial Fraud Section, handling wire fraud, securities fraud, health care fraud, racketeering, insider trading, and money laundering. She tried nine federal jury cases to verdict, including a lengthy seven-week racketeering trial involving gang-related murder charges, and argued two appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Last fall, she was named a deputy chief in the office’s General Crimes Section.
Her move to Litson is a homecoming. Nutini earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as executive editor of the Tennessee Law Review. She began her legal career in Nashville as a commercial litigation associate at an Am Law 200 firm, then clerked for U.S. District Judge William L. Campbell Jr., now chief judge of the Middle District of Tennessee. She later represented health care and pharmaceutical companies and executives in government investigations at an Am Law 100 firm.
“After more than six years prosecuting complex federal crimes in Chicago, I know how the government investigates and prosecutes its cases. I’m excited to bring that experience to Litson, a firm building the kind of white-collar and trial practice I want to be part of, and to help clients across the country navigate their most challenging moments. Coming back to Nashville, where I started my legal career, makes this opportunity especially meaningful,” Nutini said.
“Paige supervised attorneys at one of the best U.S. Attorney’s offices in the country and brings the kind of recent trial experience that’s rare in private practice. She knows how the government builds a case before it makes a move, which makes her a formidable advocate for our clients. She makes this firm better on day one,” said Alex Little, managing partner at Litson.
Nutini’s arrival continues a year of growth and national recognition for Litson, which earned a 2026 Chambers USA ranking for Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations for the second consecutive year.
