Litson Debuts on the Nashville Business Journal’s List of the Largest Litigation Law Firms in Nashville
Two years after opening with 3 attorneys, Litson has made the Nashville Business Journal’s 2026 list of the largest litigation law firms in Nashville. The firm enters at No. 28 with 10 litigation attorneys.
The Business Journal ranks the list by the number of litigation attorneys in each firm’s Nashville-area office. The firms on it share 814 litigation attorneys between them. This year’s edition also marks the local debut of Kirkland & Ellis, the largest law firm in the world by revenue, which opened in Nashville in early 2026.
Litson is a litigation firm from the ground up. Every attorney on the list for Litson handles trial and investigation work, from white-collar criminal defense and government investigations to high-stakes civil litigation. The firm’s partnership includes 5 former federal prosecutors.
The listing adds to a year of recognition for the firm. In September, founding partners Alex Little and Zack Lawson were named to the 2027 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America, the only Tennessee lawyers in the guide recognized for criminal work. Little is also 1 of only 58 lawyers in the guide recognized for criminal defense. The firm also holds a back-to-back Chambers USA ranking for white-collar crime and government investigations, and 4 of its attorneys appear in the 2027 Best Lawyers publications.
The full list was published in the Business Journal’s Sept. 4, 2026 issue and is available to subscribers at bizjournals.com/nashville.
