Four Litson Attorneys Recognized in Best Lawyers® 2027, Chosen Entirely by Peer Vote
Every year, Best Lawyers puts a single question to practicing attorneys about the colleagues and competitors in their market: “If you were unable to take a case yourself, how likely would you be to refer it to this lawyer?”
In the 2027 edition, released today, the answers doubled Litson’s honorees, from 2 to 4: Managing Partner Alex Little and partner Brent Hannafan in The Best Lawyers in America®, and co-founding partner Zack Lawson and partner John Ross Glover in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America, which recognizes earlier-career lawyers through the same peer-review process.
Recognition cannot be purchased. Under the publication’s Purely Peer Review® methodology, in place for more than 40 years, nominations are free, and ballots are confidential. The lists are built from the judgment of other lawyers, including the ones across the table.
Little is recognized in Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense: General Practice, and Criminal Defense: White-Collar, where he has been named since 2021. Hannafan, recognized since 2025 and appearing for the first time as a Litson attorney, is honored in Employment Law - Individuals and Litigation - Labor and Employment.
Lawson, named in Ones to Watch since 2022, is recognized in Commercial Litigation and Entertainment and Sports Law. Glover, elevated to partner this year, earns his first recognition in Administrative / Regulatory Law.
Together the categories map the docket Litson was built for: white-collar criminal defense, government investigations and enforcement, and complex civil litigation.
“It is deeply meaningful to be recognized by peers,” said Little. “Our firm thrives because we take on challenging, high-stakes cases with a relentless focus on our clients’ goals. This honor reflects that commitment.”
“The ballots in this survey come from lawyers I have tried cases with and against for my whole career,” said Hannafan. “That is the judgment I value most.”
The 4 recognitions are the widest footprint the firm has held in these publications.
