Chambers USA Ranks Litson Again for 2026

June 4, 2026

Litson PLLC has again been ranked in the 2026 edition of Chambers USA, with both the firm and Managing Partner Alex Little recognized in Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations. The firm holds a Band 2 ranking in Tennessee, and the back-to-back recognition, earned in only its second year, places Litson among the leading litigation practices in the state.

Chambers rankings are based on independent research and thousands of interviews with clients and peers each year. A second consecutive ranking reflects how the firm’s reputation has held and grown as its caseload has expanded.

Founded in May 2024 by Alex Little and Zack Lawson, Litson has grown from three attorneys to a team of 10 attorneys and 30 professionals across offices in Nashville and Knoxville. The firm’s partnership now includes four former federal prosecutors who have collectively tried more than 90 jury trials, following the addition of Brent Hannafan, former Criminal Division Chief in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the elevations of Edward Canter and John Ross Glover.

“Earning this recognition a second year running means more to us than the first,” said Alex Little, managing partner. “It tells us the trust our clients place in us is being borne out in results, case after case.”

Since its first Chambers ranking, the firm has continued to win high-stakes matters, including:

  • All charges dismissed against a client facing $2.3 million in federal fraud allegations;
  • A jury acquittal on an aggravated perjury charge returned in under 30 minutes;
  • An $877,000 civil forfeiture action abandoned by the government;
  • The return of a sitting member of Congress’s phone seized by the Department of Justice, with the copied materials ordered destroyed.

“These are thecases that define who we are,” said Zack Lawson, co-founding partner. “We helpclients stand up to the government and find their footing on difficult legalground.”
